(24) (25) Your Lord and the Lord of your first fathers (26) said: "Your messenger, who was sent to you for madness," said: "The Lord of the East and the Maghreb, (28) Pharaoh was furious with this and he threatened Moses, peace be upon him, that he would imprison him if he took another god, but Moses did not accept the threat and told Pharaoh that he would come to him with something and a miracle to prove his sincerity and prophecy (30) He said, "Bring him if you are one of the truthful" (31) He casts his stick, and if he is a clear serpent, he will say to him, (32) and remove his hand (33) When Pharaoh and his people saw these miracles at the hands of Moses, we had pride and confusion. When Moses insisted upon inviting Pharaoh, who was at the height of his power and filled his people, he ordered Haman to cook the bricks for him. He then ascended to heaven to see the God of Moses, and then added that Moses is a liar in that he has only a god but Pharaoh. God has described this desperate attempt by Pharaoh as the following verses of Surat Al-Qasas. And he will burn me, O Haman, upon the clay, and make me an altar to me I have seen the God of Moses and I think of the liars.
